Why SEO?

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is one of the most important factors when considering a digital marketing strategy, this is because appearing at the top of all search engine results is key to providing good traffic to your website. Whether it’s leading to your homepage or a specific product you want to focus on, there is nothing more important than being on page one of search engine results.

Online advertising company Chitika conducted research which found that 95% of all search traffic is focused around the first page of Google. Additionally, they found traffic on the first page is focused on the top two results, the first result gets over 30% of all traffic and the second gets around 18%. Any rankings below get considerably lower.

Discovery

Keyword Research

Using the findings from the discovery meeting, we will use specialist software to put together a bespoke keyword list for your business. This will include search volumes, current rankings and difficulty ratings.

On-Site SEO

The foundation of any SEO campaign is to make sure that your website is set up correctly to facilitate crawls by search engines. Meta descriptions, HTML titles, Alt-Tags and URL structures will be scrutinised and optimised.

Content Optimisation

The next step is to make sure that the content on your site is optimised for the keyword it is looking to answer. Our team will adapt the content on each page so that it works for search engines without affecting the readability for its human audience.

Off-Site SEO

If you have a low domain authority rating, it will often be necessary to improve this with link building and digital PR to compliment the on page SEO that is taking place. This is usually an optional extra but can deliver a significant impact if done correctly.

Analysis & Reporting

As results start to happen it is important to regularly review and analyse the available metrics. You will be invited to take part in monthly reporting meetings where we will talk you through the progress against the benchmarks set at the start of the campaign.
