A structured approach and the use of influencers to amplify the brand online
Selecting the right social channels for a brand is key to a successful social media strategy and, with food being such a visual product, for Prep Perfect the initial focus was very much on Instagram and Facebook plus more recently TikTok. Although many of Prep Perfect’s customers are gym goers, there is an ever-growing market for meal prep amongst those looking to eat more healthily without the hassle of cooking on a daily basis. Our strategy for social content therefore needed to cover several different messaging pillars to cater for the varying target audiences.
Our starting point was to develop personas for each of the audience sectors and create messaging for each one whilst still utilising the same tone of voice. From this foundational structure we are able to create social media content calendars each month so that Prep Perfect have full visibility on the proposed content. In order to reach out to a wider audience, beyond Prep Perfect’s following, we also utilise regular promoted posts to coincide with specific promotions, as well as running paid social campaigns on a regular basis.
Just one post from the right sort of influencer can have a dramatic impact on engagement and brand awareness. One of the key aspects of our work for Prep Perfect has been to seek out social media influencers in the health and fitness world to become ambassadors for their meal prep service. Partnerships with appropriate influencers and like minded brands has made a real difference to the delivery of ROI from Prep Perfect’s social channels.
