Knight TS was set up by the Knight financial group to provide transaction services and due diligence to companies involved in mergers and acquisitions. As a start up they came to us needing their brand building from the ground up. They wanted a brand that would reflect the ethos of their team and resonate with their target audience of business owners and high net worth individuals.
The brief was to create a logo, brand look and feel, colour palette and imagery that could be used across all marketing collateral including stationery, presentations, brochures and a website. Time was of the essence as there was a deadline for the launch of the new brand and everything needed to be in place so they could hit the ground running.
Following a series of discovery sessions, we quickly got under the skin of the brand and were able to hone in on the image that the key personnel wanted to convey. Branding in the financial sector can be quite bland, but Knight TS wanted to get some personality into their marketing so they could quickly establish a rapport with their target audience. The Knight name was a given and from that starting point we were able to play with the chess motif to create a logo and colour palette with a fresh, modern feel.
Once the brand style had been agreed, we quickly moved on to the creation of all marketing collateral, including the designs for a new website. All elements were pulled together in a brand guidelines document that enabled the Knight TS team to implement the brand seamlessly during the launch period. The new brand proved to be a welcome addition in the transaction services sector and we are proud to have played a small part in the team's well-deserved success.
