The Brief – Create one central website for the group to serve our global network
Alfred H Knight are a provider for inspecting, testing and consultancy in the metal, mineral and solid fuel industries. They are a totally independent, family owned business spanning five generations and have a global network of strategically placed offices and laboratories to enable global trade.
They approached us at a point when they were merging the solid fuels division of the business under the Alfred H Knight overarching brand. The brief was to create a brand strategy and a new brand style that would unify the business and lead to the development of a new corporate website to replace the existing divisional website structure.
The new unified website needed to be able to communicate the technical nature of their offering whilst at the same time being quick and simple to navigate around. As a global business it was important that the website could be created with different language versions to serve key markets such as China and Latin America.
