Website & CRM for Scientific Membership Organisation

The Brief

The International Society for Influenza and other Respiratory Viruses (ISRV) is an independent and international scientific professional society promoting the prevention, detection, treatment, and control of influenza and other respiratory virus diseases. Following the pandemic the society’s role became even more crucial and the team decided that the existing website was no longer fit for purpose. They also wanted to replace an outdated membership CRM system with a modern equivalent that would enable subscription renewals and online payments.

The Solution

Following an extended discovery process, we designed a new structure for the website that would incorporate all the different content in a more user friendly layout. The resulting bespoke WordPress website is extremely easy to use from a CMS perspective and modular in design to facilitate infinite updating.

A number of different CRM systems were discussed but it was decided that MemberPress was the best solution as it dovetailed perfectly with the website set up. The new system is able to handle new membership enquiries and existing membership renewals in a slick and professional way.
